I am a colour pencil and mixed media artist, creating geometry, exploring pattern and colour and being ever inspired by nature.

I have been working solely with colour pencils since 2005 but have created under the name of Elkie Wild Art since 2014 when I started taking part in art exhibitions and fairs with my artwork. In the same month, October 2014, I created The Colour Pencil Shop Ltd, and have specialised in selling individual colour pencils and other art supplies that compliment colour pencils.

I worked in a realistic style for many years, but have found my joy in creating from a place of imagination, colour and pattern play. I look to nature for inspiration, ever fascinated by the wonder and enchantment in the natural world around us. More recently I have started mixing colour pencils with other mediums, especially crystalline watercolour paint. I adore trying out new surfaces and combinations of materials.
