Wednesday 12th November 2014

I had a super time at the Christmas Craft and Food Fair in the Hadleigh Town Hall on Sunday 2nd November. With over 500 people visiting throughout the day, we saw lots of lovely people. I had a wonderful assistant on the day: my Nanna! I also had some of her snuggly fingerless gloves for sale too which you can see in the picture above (i have 2 pairs so i thoroughly recommend them).

I displayed the full collection of designs from my original drawings, in various card sizes and mounted prints. The most popular product was the small 4" robin christmas cards. I was selling these for £1 each or 6 for £5. If i do say so myself, they make very cute little Christmas cards to send to your loved ones.

The second most popular design was the Sandy Hare. Hares really seem to capture people's imagination and are great fun to draw. In fact i have 2 hare designs i like them so much!

I will be displaying all of my products again at the Simply Events Christmas Craft Fair at Hadleigh Town Hall this coming Saturday, open 10am to 4pm. Please do come and say hello to Nanna and I - we would love to see you!

Thursday 23rd October 2014

I have been working hard to finish my 2014 Christmas card in time for the two Christmas fairs i have coming up on the 2nd and 15th November. For my first ever Christmas card, i decided to draw a robin sitting on some holly - a very typically traditional wildlife Christmas scene. It took about 7 hours to complete from the initial pencil drawing to the finished colour work. I will be selling my Christmas cards at the two fairs detailed on the 'Events' page and i will also have the original drawing on display. Please do feel free to come and say hello to me at the fairs.
